ASHTON ADULT EDUCATION; ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE (INTRODUCTION) The aim of this course is to give the participants an introduction to the Alexander Technique. Each student will have a chance to receive some individual hands-on-work from the teacher. There will also be group activities in which the principles of the Alexander Technique will be explored, as well as periods of guided relaxation. Wear warm, loose comfortable clothing (not jeans) for moving around in, and bring six thin paperback books and a mat or rug to lie on. Call

KINSALE
FURTHER EDUCATION CENTRE, PLC COURSE IN INTRODUCTORY A part-time course which introduces the principles of the Alexander Technique. This one year course is for one morning a week. This course is a mixture of lectures, demonstrations and practical activities. It is designed to give an understanding of the theory and application of the Alexander Technique. It includes assessed coursework. Students completing the course will find it a useful adjunct to or preparation for other health care courses, performing arts and for general interest.
